Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Contribute to the provision of a high level of customer service that is maintained at all times.
• Interact effectively with customers from a range of cultural backgrounds, age groups, abilities and fitness levels.
Provide accurate information to customers on the programs and services available at the Leisure Centre.
Maintain co-operative and productive working relationships with other Centre staff and service providers within the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Brimbank City Council.
Specialist Skills and Knowledge
• Ability to supervise and deliver swim lessons to a range of age groups and ability levels.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers from a range of backgrounds, age groups, abilities and fitness levels.
• Ability to deliver the highest standards of public supervision, safety and instruction.
• Ability to implement effective workplace and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures and practices within an aquatic setting.
• Ability to provide First Aid to required standards and act appropriately and effectively in an emergency situation.
