An opportunity exists for a Test Lead to join the Computershare Technology Services' Communication Services team at the Port Melbourne office. The Test Lead is required to assume responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
The Position.
This is an interesting and challenging role which will see you responsible for:
Prepare Overall and Test Plan.
Contribute to a detailed test schedule
Test status reports
Prioritisation and allocation of testing tasks
Liaising with stakeholders ensuring the testing for projects progresses smoothly
Production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during the project
The Candidate.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Test management of projects involving multiple testing phases
Scheduling and estimating efforts for all test activities
Understanding and management of the defect management process
Managing and reporting of test phases/activities
Strong leadership and people management skills coupled with skills in communicating
Planning / Preparation and Execution of test cases
Creates and maintains traceability matrix
Experienced in managing a small team of testers
Strong defect management experience
Management of System / Integration Test phases
Experience in developing Test Plans
Sound application of Microsoft and HP software development tools (Microsoft Team Foundation Server; MTM and HP Quality Centre)
Strong communicator in both formal and informal settings
Ability to work with other teams to resolve / troubleshoot system/application issues
Structured, methodical approach to problem solving
Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
The Following are advantageous:
Experience in Test Strategy development
Good knowledge of project management disciplines
Knowledge of Financial Systems concepts and workflow
ISTQB Certification
Exposure to non-functional test phases
