Communications Technology Group provides global technology and infrastructure support for the Computershare Communications business through a full range of project and development services.
A rare opportunity has come about for a seasoned IT Manager with National experience to join the Communications Technology Group responsible for management and delivery of a national portfolio of development and client project/implementation services for Computershare's Communication Services business.
About The Position
The primary responsibility of this senior technology role within the Communications Technology Group is the end to end management of the national technology operations teams supporting Computershare Communication Services in Australia.
The role is responsible for a multimillion dollar budget across 125 FTE. The role may be based from - Melbourne (Abbotsford or Port Melbourne) or Sydney (Carrington Street or Ermington).
The Main Duties and responsibilities include:
Build and maintain strong engagement across the Computershare Technology and Communications business units
Work with the business and technology leadership team in forward planning of client-demand and prioritisation of product development
Ensure BAU and project portfolios are delivered to the highest quality levels and in line with client expectations
Build and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across the business
Lead and manage a large team of technology professionals in line with Computershare's people management development policies
About The Candidate
Critically, this role requires a positive, dynamic business savvy leader, who will bring extensive experience in leading cross site teams.
The Essential attributes/skills:
Strong experience as a Senior Manager leading a large IT department
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
Strong budget and revenue management experience
Experience working with third party service providers and vendors in a partnering environment
Experience leading and managing large teams
Experience in a commercial and professional services environment
High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
Exceptional verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail
Process driven
Strong financial knowledge along with a highly developed understanding of operations and project processes and tools
The Desired experience:
Knowledge of Communications industry and market is highly regarded.
Consulting services experience and experience in delivering services as a third party provider.
Your proven track record in successfully collaborating with diverse teams and business units, paired with your influencing style, will assist you to succeed as you are empowered to build and maintain critical business relationships.
