About the Job/ Position
The Development Solutions regional Computershare Technology Services (CTS) team has a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. 

Based in our global head office in Abbotsford, the successful applicant will engage with stakeholders across the organisation; investigate business processes, gather requirements, analyse, investigate and document solutions; and support the delivery of a diverse range of projects in this fast paced role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-
    Plan the appropriate business analysis approach based on the size, complexity, constraints and dependencies of the project.
    Manage business analysis performance by upholding Computershare's methodologies, BA practices, SDLC, and compliance requirements.
    Identify and communicate constraints and assumptions that may impact the solution.
    Define the solution scope in terms of the new capabilities the project, iteration and work effort that will be delivered.
    Work with developers and technical architects to deliver the system changes.
    Provide guidance to QA team on the approach and coverage for system testing.
    Mentor and provide guidance to other team members.

The Essential skills and experiences:
    Previous experience working as a Business Analyst
    Experience liaising with users to gather requirements and document existing processes. This includes gathering requirements and translating these into functional specifications.
    Experience negotiating the scope of solutions with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of consistent processes, policies and measurements.
    Experience in integration and/or system testing.
    Knowledge of share registry and/or employee share plan industries.

The Desired skills and competencies:
    Exposure to Agile/Scrum techniques.
    Experience with performing business analysis activities associated with financial services applications.
    Experience in working with application prototyping tools.
    A degree in Computing, Business or Information Systems.
    Demonstrated leadership experience would be advantageous.
