Salary: $70K - $80K Base + Car + Commission

This distributor is recognised throughout the construction, manufacturing, industrial and aerospace sectors for providing an exceptional product. They are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer ideally who has mechanical & electrical knowledge of large capital machinery. This company has been established for over 30 years and carries with it a great reputation for service and high performing products that speak for themselves.
The Position & Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for;
Developing new business through construction, manufacturing, industrial & engineering
A technical sales ability and a solution based approach to selling is unquestionable
Sell large capital machinery as well as consumables
Inter state travel and international travel will be required
Provide a solution based sales process
Candidate
Ideally you will posses;
Experience selling CNC/Industrial capital equipment is a must
An energetic approach and willingness to go above and beyond to get a sale
Excellent presentation, communication and organisation skills
Technical background is a must, someone from an engineering background will be looked upon favourably
Past experience selling through to construction, aerospace, manufacturing, industrial and mining is highly regarded
Proven track record of selling capital machinery and understanding longer sales cycles is highly regarded
Rewards
You will receive a base salary between $70K - $80K based on technical experience as well as a fully maintained company vehicle and quarterly commission based on performance which are uncapped 10% of total GP!!
