Position title: Shift Supervisor | Mineral Sands

Location: Pinkenba, Brisbane.

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Supervisor to be based at our heavy mineral processing plant located in Pinkenba, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, you will hold responsibility for the various shifts across the plant to ensure that safety, environmental, production, financial, and quality goals are met as well as effectively leading your team of up to six personnel.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Co-ordination and implementation of strategies to manage risk and ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety and Quality policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Input to planning, scheduling and implementation of production activities to deliver business outcomes.
• Participate in the investigation of production losses associated with operations and implementation of improvement plans.
• Effective management and forecast of production expenditure & identification of cost reduction opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a proven background of supervisory experience within a manufacturing, minerals processing, or mining environment as well as a sound understanding of site services and production activities. Qualification in Cert IV Frontline Management and S1, S2, S3 or equivalent is desirable.
