Great opportunity for an experienced loan assessor to join Australia’s largest mutual bank.
To meet the demand for our services we are searching for an experienced Mortgage Processing & Service Specialist with proven sales skills. You will be focused on providing exceptional customer service by engaging in meaningful conversations with our customers and matching our products to meet their needs. Whilst also providing professional administration to ensure a successful loan outcome. The important task of checking and verifying the accuracy of mortgage documents prior to settlement is a key component of this position, as well as the ability to identify, cross sell and refer insurance opportunities to meet the needs of our valued customers.
To succeed you will need to possess and demonstrate:

• High attention to detail whilst processing high volumes of applications
• Experience with assessing both Standard and Self Employed lending applications and writing submissions to Credit for formal approval on recommended applications
• High customer service standards for both internal and external customers
• The ability to complete outbound calls with the view of identifying, promoting and cross selling additional products to meet our customers’ needs
• Ability to prioritise and work towards timeframes ensuring favourable outcomes
• The ability to identify and resolve challenges as they arise or escalate appropriately
• Confident communication skills to liaise with customers or their representative
