Coles Online are now looking for a National Customer Delivery Manager to join the business based at the Store Support Centre in Tooronga.
As National Customer Delivery Manager you will be responsible for a $55m transport budget whilst being accountable for safety & compliance of all transport equipment and operating processes across 300+ delivery vehicles that drive over 18 million kilometres per annum across Australia. You will be accountable for resource planning & scheduling for Coles Online orders, providing strategic direction and team leadership to the Customer Delivery management team and will visit stores nationally to ensure adherence and compliance to policy and procedures. Working with the wider Coles Online team - marketing, merchandise, finance, customer experience, B2B and commercial - to ensure that customer needs are met in the most efficient and cost effective manner will also be a large part of your role.
To be successful in this position you will have extensive knowledge of transport operations, be highly developed in planning and have experience with transportation software. An understanding of Supermarket policies and standards will be important as will having a thorough understanding and demonstration of OH&S and issues associated with traffic management. You will be experienced in building teams, implementing solutions and ideally have a minimum ten years in a senior operations leadership role. Strong financial & business acumen, outstanding interpersonal skills and highly developed negotiating skills will see you succeed in this challenging but rewarding role.
