Web Application Support Analyst
About the Position
We currently have a Web Application Support opportunity in the Global Web Applications team. This role is responsible for managing the global support bucket for the various web applications. A strong focus is placed on customer service and liaising with the development teams to resolve issues. based in our global head office in Abbotsford, this opportunity will enable to you be part of a large global company with over 12,000 employees world wide.

The key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Managing the global support bucket
Managing all technical issues/solutions
Analysis and troubleshooting of applications and databases
Escalation of complex technical issues
Managing deployment tasks for Handover and Production environments
Process & Knowledge improvements
Documentation
After hours (on-call) support
To be successful in securing this role, you must have the following essential skills:
Knowledge of Computershare products
Communicates well both verbally and in writing
Evidence of strong customer focus, having to liaise with many different parties to solve an issue
Solid problem analysis and problem solving skills
Broad understanding of web applications
Desired Skills:
Experience of supporting web applications in the following environment:
Windows Server 2003/2008
HTML
Experience in writing scripts and automation tasks
Experience with software development methodologies and standards
Strong understanding of technical environments and operating platforms (Windows Operating Systems)
Knowledge of .Net languages
